Mr. Yan obtained his degree in Applied Computing from Open University of Hong Kong in 1994 and the Master degree in Electronic Commerce from Curtin University in 2001.

Before joining HKCI, he worked at The Hong Kong Institute of Education. He teaches IT subjects of Higher Diploma and Electronic Commerce for the BA course. His area of interests includes Electronic Commerce, Database Systems and Computer Networking. He provides an interactive environment for his students so that students can learn from each other.
