Dr. Edith MOK - Vice Principal

Dr. Mok obtained her Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2003, and her MBA from the University of Warwick in 1994. She has extensive professional experience at a senior level in both business and information technology, including being the Director of Information Technology, Hong Kong Jockey Club (1997-98); Chief Information Officer, AT&T (1995-96); Director of Information Technology Service (1994-95), HK Polytechnic University. She was with Dow Chemical for 22 years with 8 years as the Head of the Pacific Area Information Systems Groups, and diversified into the business as Manager of Customer Service and Project Consultant.

She suffered from stroke in 1997. During the period of re-cuperation, she completed her DBA degree, and has been active as Advisor/Consultant/ Project Manager in various professional bodies, including the HK Society for Rehabilitation, the Equal Opportunity Commission, the HK Computer Society, HK Management association, the Wireless Technology Industry Association and the Tradelink Electronic Commerce Ltd.

Dr. Mok brings to HKCI/IAM a wealth of academic and industrial experience as well as precious life experience in overcoming adversity. She will greatly strengthen the academic team, and contribute to the quality and development of our courses, touching the lives of all our students, from the 18 years old to the MBA students.
