Edmund obtained his BEng and MPhil degrees from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1997 and 2000 respectively. After his graduation, he worked in the university's technology transfer institute as a Project Engineer. Before Edmund joined HKCI in 2004, he was a teacher in the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education in both Tuen Mun and Tsing Yi Campuses teaching diploma and higher diploma IT courses. He had also worked in the Open University of Hong Kong to teach part-time courses. Edmund's main teaching areas are Java and .NET programming, System Analysis and Design, and Object-oriented Technology.
