Karen obtained her MBA degree from the University of Wales, UK in 1994. She also received a certificate in Adult Education and Training from SPACE, the University of Hong Kong in 1995 and a Certificate in Basic Employee Counseling Skills from the Hong Kong Baptist University in 1996. Karen has extensive experience in adult training and human resources management.

Karen joined HKCI in 2002. She has been teaching different levels from diploma, degree, to master degree. She specialize in teaching management, organizational behavior, and business subjects.

Karen believes that getting students' active involvement is the most essential element of successful teaching.
